Got silent room with a view.

It is in the centre of the city.

The whole experience was very nice from start to finish, recommend. Everything was perfect - central location and excellent service. The breakfast of this place was sensational with a fair amount of options, liked it.

Spacious room, friendly staff, with a comfortable atmosphere improved with well-equipped amenities such as a tv and an electric kettle, conveniently located near the harbour and the bus terminal for easy exploration.

I loved that the hotel was just a few steps from the lively harbour and within a short walk of St Magnus Cathedral. Plus, the close proximity to several great cafes made grabbing breakfast easy while enjoying the friendly vibe of the old town.

The decor in the hotel is charming, with beautiful muted tones that reflect the coastal location. I loved the cozy feel and the friendly atmosphere made it easy for senior guests like myself to navigate.

Better accessibility features for seniors would be appreciated.

The cozy room I had offered two comfy chairs and a view straight out over the harbor. I loved checking in late after my ferry ride to a neat en-suite and even found biscuits waiting! The location was perfect for exploring the local charm and attractions.

I had a lovely stay at The Shore. The comfortable room offered a cozy feel, albeit with a less-than-stellar view of a fire escape.

Clean room with decent amenities and a cozy bed. Location offers good access to the town and nearby attractions.

Dining options are non-existent unless you head to the sister hotel, a trek in any weather, and access to the hotel itself is cumbersome, requiring a visit to check in at the Kirkwall Hotel. My room had no real windows, only skylights that let in far too much light too early and a minuscule view into a wall, somewhat disheartening for the price paid. The shower had inconsistent water temperature, leading to an awkward experience trying to get cleaned up. To top it off, the entire place feels dated and in need of a serious refurb.

Charming feel with friendly staff. Room was a bit noisy from guests above. Excellent location near the waterfront and local attractions. Restaurant serves great food. Easy access to golf course.

Charming stay with helpful staff

The staff were friendly and went the extra mile to assist. I found the breakfast ordering process a bit cumbersome as it required pre-ordering the night before. A lovely stay despite minor inconveniences.

Not ideal but decent for a quick stopover

The staff were really kind and helped carry my luggage to the room since I came in late at night. Plus, the location was walkable and made getting around easy, which I appreciated given the late hour.

It wasn't exactly cheap but it was acceptable for a quick stay.
